The 100 Artworks Challenge, 9/100

Carrigdrohid Castle on the river Lee, Co. Cork, Ireland.
Drawn  on Fabriano 200gm2 paper with a variety of nib widths of Pigma Micron pens, a Pentel Brush Pen and a wash over the entire sky with semi-opaque Zinc White Gouache paint.  Before the was was applied the sky was far too dark to allow any contrast between it and the castle.  A conceit, I know, but it seems to have worked tolerably well.
19th April 2015.

The 100 Artworks Challenge 8/100

Whitethorn Tree, Co. Clare, Ireland. Drawn on Fabriano 200gm2 paper with a variety of nib widths of Pigma Micron pens, a Pentel Brush Pen and some opaque Titanium White Gouache paint used to give extra emphasis to the blossom.
