I enjoy this medium Andrew. For me these line drawings are meditative and magic. In a way, rather than drawing the image, I feel I am doing no more than releasing an existing, hidden image from the surface of the paper. I very much enjoy watching the image develop as if, line by line, the drawing is emerging from a white mist.
Your recent sketches built largely from horizontal and vertical lines are extremely interesting John, and impressive to me.
