6 February

Church of Holy Trinity, Goodramgate, York.  My daughter, Annabelle, recently visited this wonderful old building and was kind enough to send on to me the guide leaflet she picked up there.  I made this drawing after the photograph reproduced on the front of the leaflet.

  1. I like it, although the gridlined tree is innovative.

    and hello again Sensate Lad

    1. Thank you Andrew. The 'gridlined tree' is indeed innovative but the only master I have to guide me here is the suck it and see master; some things work well, others less so! I am looking forward a couple of weeks now to getting to the end of the current sketch book and my self-imposed limit of working - more or less - in line only; a spot of colour is so much more forgiving.
